Helping Muslims in Need this Winter

We managed to send the amount we raised from last year, we still have not been able to reach our target.
We are raising money for Poor Muslims whom we know personally and they live in Afghanistan. They are in need of help because many of them are in old age and there is no-one to look after them and they have very hard life due to weather, age and bad economy. They would be so happy if they knew that there are Muslims out there who are willing to help for the sake of Allah. We ask you you to donate for the sake of Allah because even 1 penny in the path of Allah will be gold in the Akhira. Every penny will go to them, help them this winter.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "If you love the poor and bring them near you. . .Allah will bring you near Him on the Day of Resurrection." - Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 1376
The Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) said: "No doubt this wealth is sweet and green. Blessed is the wealth of a Muslim, from which he gives to the poor, the orphans, and needy travellers [Bukhari, Muslim].
