Animal Abuse SUCKS! Lets help Earl

Earl Newcastle came to Cleft Pup Brigade aka Fred's Friends after being dumped at a shelter a little over two weeks ago, found as a "stray" at 4 weeks old. The shelter vet hadn't ad a chance to look at him and the other staff determined he was a cleft puppy, so he came to us. BOY WERE THEY WRONG! He had devastating damage to the inside of his mouth, bone exposed through an open wound on the top of his palate and a broken jaw to boot! A horrible sinus infection, that we think is probably caused by sinus cavity damage. He couldnt eat on his own and had to be syringe fed. He has made miraculous strides and is now eating on his own and is strong enough to be seen by the wonderful staff at UC Davis. Lots of vet appointments and surgeries are in his near future. He is a fighter and we will fight for him! Thank you all for considering donating toward his care. Our appointment is Wednesday July 25.
