My name is Matt Hickson, I'm a Long Track Speedskater training out of Salt Lake City, Utah, and I need your help! I'm working everyday towards achieving my goal of competing in the Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia, and my work is starting to pay off. The road to the The Games, however, isn't a cheap one. Travel costs, equipment, healthy food, and living expenses are a large burden that I have to endure almost completely from my own pocket. A major issue with this sport is that it has very little exposure unless it's during an Olympic year, making sponsorship a difficult thing to come by.
