Attending the Illustration Bootcamp

Hi, I’m Kat.

My dream is becoming a fantasy illustrator. I spend my days designing at a tech company; my nights drawing and painting at Watts Atelier of the Arts.

In July of last year I attended Watt’s Atelier’s Fantasy Illustration Boot-camp. Those six, eye opening days changed my life. With guidance from my instructors, my dream felt real - something obtainable. I fell in love with the challenging process of telling a story using oil paints. This is the result, of which I am quite proud. 





I would like to continue this journey by attending this workshop again in January 11th-16th, 2016. It will cost me $1335 to attend.


This is where I could use a little help.


I have already put down $100 non refundable deposit that holds my spot.  

I need to raise $575 by October 23rd for the first non refundable payment due for tuition, then another $675 by Thanksgiving November 16, 2015 for the remaining tuition.  I would greatly appreciate any donations, every dollar helps.








If I raise the money

I will get to go to the workshop again! I will be given an illustration assignment, and be guided through the process from preliminaries to the finished illustrative piece. I learned more than I ever thought I would last year. There were so many aspects of the process that I was completely unfamiliar with. Now that I’m a bit more familiar, I want to take this further. I want to reach my potential and see what I’m capable of. You can be a part of helping me achieve this.



If I fail to meet my goal

I will have to wait until next year to hopefully see the opportunity again.
