In Sherry's own words:
"As many of you may be aware after reading the paper and watching the news in the last few weeks, Regenetek Research is under serious allegations that have led to an investigation. For those who are aware I worked at Regenetek, I want you to know that I resigned at the end of December. I had come to have some very, very serious concerns as to how and what the Company was doing to vulnerable people. I cannot and will not work for a company that I became aware was engaging in what I have come to believe is criminal activity. I was only there 6 months, but it was enough for me as I gradually learned about the man for whom I worked. I thought I had the Dream Job helping people. I am ashamed to say that I was ever a part of what I came to learn was an outright fraud of innocent people. And to those who may have been affected by my ever having believed in a man who claimed to be someone he was not, and claimed to have created something that he did not, and lied to so many including myself - I am deeply, deeply sorry. It is not over as the fall out from this inevitably involves me, and I will and have cooperated with all levels of authority involved. My knowledge of how and what was done within those office walls put me in a precarious position, but I will continue to cooperate as needed in any way I can so as to protect the patients."
Sherry's former employer has now filed a lawsuit against her. Sherry has found a wonderful lawyer to help her. Your generous donation will be used by Sherry to help pay for legal fees to defend the lawsuit and any other legal help she will need if called as a witness in a possible trial. In addition, the funds are urgently needed to help with her living expenses; rent and utilities are currently past due.
We want to help our friend, a single mother, by creating this fundraising site. Sherry gives selflessly to her family, friends, and the patients she tried to help, so we want to give back to her.
