Florey Institute Internship (AUS)

Hello everyone! I'm trying to go to Melbourne, Australia this summer as an intern for the Florey Institute for Neuroscience and Mental Health to help researchers look at the effects of stress on mice for 10 weeks! Due to financial and academic constraints I am only able to use my summers to study abroad, I have always wanted to travel to Australia to explore the culture and take advantage of any research opportunities they had to offer within the biomedical field. The Florey Institute is amazing in that it is a huge research facility and attracts scientists from all over the world interested in tackling problems in neuroscience and mental health.

When I applied for the internship at the Florey Institute in Melbourne I could hardly believe that they were accepting me as an intern! I am applying for scholarships but unfortunately that may not be enough for me to get to Australia.
