Worst humanitarian crisis - YEMEN

Donation protected
I am sure you've all seen the above picture of Amal Hussein, a 7-year-old Yemeni girl whose photograph became a symbol of the country's long-running conflict.. she died a week after that photo was taken.

Yemen is suffering the worlds biggest humanitarian crisis ever since the 40s.
As the conflict enters its fourth year, millions are without access to food or clean drinking water and the country is at high risk of a cholera epidemic.

22.2 million in need of assistance, 8.4 million people severely food insecure, and a further 10 million that could fall under the same category by the end of the year, if action is not urgently taken. UN humanitarian chief Mark Lowcock -  “We are losing the fight against famine”.

World Health Organisation and UNICEF classed the Cholera crisis in Yemen as the worst outbreak ever recorded, with the number having increased by a million since.

Every ten minutes, a child under five dies of preventable causes.

This is the "forgotten war", because Western media focused on Syria, Yemen's situation is now catastrophic. Nearly half of all children between six months and 5 years old are chronically malnourished.

Please donate whatever you can even if its £1, if you cant all I ask is if you could PLEASE SHARE this on your socials.

£65 could provide enough vaccines to protect 500 children against polio which is a life-threatening but preventable disease.

£58 could provide an emergency water and hygiene kit for two families affected by the crisis.

£24 could provide a month’s supply of life-saving peanut paste to bring a severely malnourished child back to health.
