Henrys Allergy Treatment

We are so grateful for the continued donations! They will help immensely with all the additional expenses! Henry has a severe allergy syndrome called FPIES (food protein induced entercolitis syndrome). It is a rare disease only affecting 1 out of 10,000 people. While it doesn't present with typical anaphylaxis, he will vomit so profusely to the point of going into shock. He has already been hospitlized twice for allergies. Due to these allergies, he becomes lethargic, has gastrointestinal pain which causes bloody diapers and also has eczema outbreaks. Only consuming less than a teaspoon of his allergens can cause him to have severe reaction. He has 20+ allergies, including the most severe - dairy, egg, corn, carrots and oats. We have to avoid area's and activities where food is involved because of all his allergies. He is not able to attend daycare or community centers where children would be snacking. A little background info; Henry was born 8 weeks premature and contracted meningitis while in hospital. He was on heavy duty antibiotics that caused inflammation of his gut, among other medical concerns. We were in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) for 57 days and I almost lost him twice. I have researched and found an amazing treatment centre to help with his allergies. He will be going for treatment for 2 weeks using Bioresonance Therapy. This is similar to acupuncture, but without needles. It is designed to activate the body’s ability to regulate and heal itself by treating imbalances caused by irritants, toxins, pathogens and environmental pollutants. When the body is under stress, inflammation can develop and elimination through organs such as the liver, bowel and kidneys can become difficult or impaired. This can lead to a cascade of events including high histamine, leaky gut and an imbalanced immune system which can lead to allergies, both food and enviromental. This is crucial for Henry to undergo due to the severity of complications arising from being premature and having (life threatening) meningitis. The cost of this treatment is quite expensive and NOT covered by OHIP or provincial plans. The success rate is over 95%. I am desperately asking help to heal Henry and allow him to live his life fully. His big brother Jaysen can't wait for Henry to be healthy.
