Hernia surgery for good father of 2

Donation protected
I am a married father of 2, self employed PC tech, and Android developer. I don't have insurance because it costs more than I make. I have been battling an epigastric hernia for years, and it has now gotten to a place where it can no longer be ignored. Being as my house lives on basically one income, that of my wife, a teacher, there is really no way that this type of surgery is within the budget. The emergency room won't declare it an emergency unless it strangulates, and at that point I risk sepsis and getting much more sick from waiting, or worse. I hate asking help with personal problems, and always have, but this is a much better option than trying to take my chances fighting it. Anything helps get towards the end goal of getting me stitched up and able to laugh, sneeze, cough, or run, without having to push this hernia in every time, causing discomfort and watching the fear in my wife and my kids faces when they see me buckle over. I am still searching for assistance programs but as I'm a 35 year old man, in a state that denied expanding medicaid, my options are bleak. Thank you for reading this and even considering helping.
