The Meriden Junior Football League is a nonprofit youth football and cheerleading organization that provides sports programs in which inner city youth can learn
sportsmanship and teamwork, while building character in a learning, positive and constructive environment. This past year we had over two hundred and fifty participants and are proud of their accomplishments for the 2014 season. These accomplishments include:
Four Cheer Squads advancing to the 2014 AYC New England RegionalTournament (placing at Regionals advanced them to the National competition in Florida).
Five Football Teams advancing to the CT ALLIED Conference playoffs with an opportunity to advance to Regional and National Tournaments.
Three Football Teams advancing to State Championship Tournament.
One Football Team advancing to Regional Semi Round in Massachusetts and now advancing to Regionals in New Hampshire on Sunday 11/23/2014.
We are estimating the cost to send one football team to Florida could be around $30,000. Your donation will bring us closer to our goal. Many business and community leaders are on board as well as hundreds of individuals. Our community is clearly excited and eager to see these kids succeed. You can be a part of that excitement by supporting our youth with a donation.
