Happily Homeless Hospice Adventures

This page is for Chuck Dearing. Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Friend and Mentor to many. Initially the doctors only found a large cancerous tumor in his left lung and a smaller one in his right, however at this point the cancerous tumors have spread throughout his entire body. We have had so many requests from our extended family and friends around the country who feel so helpless and are looking for a tangible way to be of support. So, we are giving you something tangible you can do in addition to the hugs and the loving wishes that have helped so much.

As it happens, my parents Happily Homeless travels had them in California when my dad was diagnosed with cancer. Anyone who has had cancer in their life knows how challenging it can be financially. Chuck's medical bills (hopefully), are covered by insurance but there are always unforeseen expenses in times like these (meals, gas for travel, assisting family members in getting to Chuck, etc).
