Hinton & District Spay Society
Donation protected
When the Hinton & District Spay and Neuter Society first started in 2014 it's key goal was to spay or neuter as many stray cats as possible. In doing this, we are humanely reducing and stabilizing the overwhelming population of homeless cats in our community. As well as preventing many unwanted cats and kittens from entering other rescue orgaizations adoption systems . All funds raised will go directly to veterinary fees and operating costs. Our society's mission is one day not have to worry about new generations of kittens being born into unhealthy and unsafe environments. All cats should have the chance to live healthy and happy lives.
Five years later this is still one of our key missions, however we have grown and now work within the surrounding towns and within all of Yellowhead County doing active rescue and spay and neuter on farms to help reduce the cat overpopulation problem.
