Help bring my husband home!

As you all know from recent news reports, the islands of Puerto Rico were crippled by both hurricanes Irma and Maria in September. In particular, the island of Vieques, has been nearly cut off from needed supplies, as it can only be accessed by ferry or plane. In the aftermath, basic necessities such as food, gas, and clean water have been scarce, the deliveries of such slow to resume. Communication with loved ones continues to be an issue, as cell service and internet is minimal, and it will take many months for power to be restored. As a result of this, due to desperation, robberies of generators, and tampering of care packages have been a problem. People fleeing for the states have also abandoned their pets, causing an overload on the already maxed out Humane Society on the island.
My husband, John Sevilla has been on Vieques for several years. I was also living there, but due to health issues, and concerns over the diminishing health of John's mother, and that of my parents, it was decided it would be best for me to come back to the states to be closer to family. John stayed behind to take care of necessary business. Unfortunately, due to setbacks and unforeseen circumstances, we have now been apart for almost 3 years. I have been supportive of John, but the strain for both of us trying to support two households for such an extended period of time, has drained our savings. Now, since the devastation caused by the hurricanes, I have spent what money I could sending care packages of necessary food and supplies for John and our 2 dogs. Due to the seriousness of the situation, tourism will not be feasible this year, resulting in loss of employment. Therefore, John's ability to raise the funds to come home on his own are now nearly impossible. He is also now dealing with health issues, and one of our dogs needs medical attention as well, so it is now even more necessary for us to get them back to the states as soon as possible to care for these concerns. I am unable at this point to raise what money is necessary for their flights and current necessities, and so I am hoping you will help.
My goal is simple: 1) Get what's left of John's belongings sent to me here in Missouri. 2) To care for the basic needs of my husband (including medication), and the dogs until they can fly out. 3) Help provide the funds needed for transportation of John and the dogs from Vieques to San Juan, and then from there to me in Missouri.
