Home in need after flooding

Hi , we are raising money for our mum who suffered a major flood on 09/08/2017. The flood was Due to a blockage in one of basildon councils drains which backed up on to our property. Basildon council have not accepted responsibility. Anglia water confirmed the drain wasn't one of theirs and it belongs to Basildon council however when I called they just kept passing me around to different departments with no one giving any help. The flood got to socket level and has short circuited the electrics , her electric cooker , washing machine and other appliances are all damaged. Her flooring is ruined and still has water under her floor boards and as a result they have lifted , are damp and has a bad smell , all of her rugs are also ruined. My mum is a single mum with 4 kids and works extremely hard. She suffers with extremely high blood pressure And as a result of last night has put her in a very bad place due to not having the means or funds to repair her home. Due to her missing one months payment with her house insurance they cancelled her house insurance so she can not receive any help from them either. My mum is a wonderful and caring women who would do anything to help anyone in need so I have created this page to hopefully get her some help in her time of need.
