HOPE FOR THE HOPEFUL

My name is Teedum Nke-ee and I recently won the title of Mr Nigeria UK 2016. I want to use this platform to create serious awareness of the sad and harsh reality of what is still happening in the northern part of Nigeria. Boko Haram is known around the world for stealing/kidnapping young children and females, separating them from their families. This has taken a massive toll on Nigeria as a nation. It has lead to much sorrow and worry and has turned the nation upside down. This is where I want to shed light on this dark matter. Due to the terrors of Boko Haram, students have been moved around and schools have been broken down, as a result children are missing out on basic educational needs. Therefore I would like to improve these IDP (Internally Displaced People) camps through providing learning resources, stationery, as well as clothes and non-perishable food goods. This is where I will require your help, as I want to raise £2000 towards this movement.

It is a privilege to be honored with this title and all attached benefits. A more profitable way of making it count is to invest my time and resources into serving humanity and giving hope to the hopeless. My effort is to discover and help to unleash the potentials in young Nigerians especially those who are in Borno State, Nigeria, affected by the activities of the Boko haram sect, which has rendered millions of people homeless and put a stop to the education of many children and youth of my generation. I intend to use this also to forge an alliance between the south and north. I myself will be in Nigeria and will be visiting the camps in order to offer my training, expertise and encouragement to the young people based there.
