We are reaching out with an urgent and heartfelt plea to support a courageous mother and her five children who are facing unimaginable challenges in Gaza. My name is Kathleen, and I’m writing from Minnesota, USA, alongside my dear friends Elizabeth from England and Lia from California. Together, we are advocating for Naseem and her family, whose resilience in the face of tragedy inspires us every day.

Meet Naseem and Her Family

Naseem is a 30-year-old single mother raising five beautiful children: Lana (11), Dana (9), Joud (7), Fahd (6), and Duaa (4). Their lives were forever changed when they were displaced from their home in Shujaiyya and forced to live in a tent city in Deir al-Balah.

The Daily Struggles They Face

Life in the tent city is harsh beyond words. The family’s tent offers little protection from the cold. Basic necessities like food, clothing, and medical care are scarce. The sounds of drones and planes are constant, as well as the fear of bombing.
