Help me and my family in Venezuela
Hello,
My name is Jorge Aguirre. I'm currently living in Australia, though I hail from Venezuela.
My country is currently in a very, very difficult situation. Currently, Venezuela has officially declared an economical emergency, a food crisis, and because of a drought it also nears a nation-wide power blackout. Venezuela is also notoriously dangerous because of a high murder crime rate. Several years ago, we even had a breaking an entering in our house, which left us with a grim reminder of the state of our country.
As of the moment, my mother, father and sister all live in the 7th most dangerous city in the world. The city is also notorious for polluted water quality - word from home is that the water coming out of the pipes smells rotten and vile, with the few reports available telling us the water is toxic and has fecal matter.

Every month since arriving in Australia I have been working as a freelance artist, sending money to my family and trying to support them. Inflation in Venezuela means that food and other products will rise in price, exponentially, by the day!
Because of my visa conditions I am unable to work continuously here, and, while presently legal, I am currently in a very tricky situation balancing both my rent here and sending my family support money.
I need help, and my family needs help. I want money, both to support myself and to help my family get out of Venezuela, so that wherever they may go, we may be together. I don't know how much money we'll need, but every bit helps!
I just want them to be safe, and I want to be safe. Please help us! I'll be forever grateful!
