The ICE The Bully Book Tour is a FREE program that was developed to get young children in disadvantaged areas EXCITED about literacy.
This weekly program was developed by the nonprofit Positive American Youth (Positive American Youth Website ) & radio personality Reec (Hot 107.9 ATL ).
We are raising money so that we continue to provide 3,600 children yearly, with a book from the ICE The Bully Book series, an educational or athletic toy and coloring book; of course at no charge to the youth or their family.
This program started in 2013 and we have seen extremely good results and feedback from the schools, day care facilities and summer programs we see. When children are exposed to reading at a young age, in a fun way, they are more likely to accelerate in the classroom.
Any and all donations are extremely appreciated by not only us, but also by the parents, teachers and children that benefit from this program.
ICE The Bully Books tackle life skills and subjects such as fitness, nutrition, money management, valuing friendships and team work. Each book also has an underlying message of anti bullying and promotes self confidence and individuality.
