Please Help Our Furry Friend Harvey

This page is for our 3 year old furry family member, Harvey (beagle). He had a terrific life with us until last Sunday, December 1. He has severe pancreatitis that is making his bile ducts in his gallbladder clogged, and causing his liver results to go through the roof where he is now jaundice. This means the whites of his eyes, inside part of his long floppy ears and his gums turned yellow. He has become so weak that he falls over while standing. Severe pancreatitis is life threatening if not treated properly. He needs to be in the hospital for a while and requires surgery when he gets stronger. This disease has a 50% mortality rate. He has struggled to find his fur-ever home. Before finding us,

he was first found roaming the streets of Howell, N.J. and picked up by a family who couldn’t care for him. He then went to a boarding house where he stayed for 4 month until he found us and we gave him his fur-ever home!!!

He is the sweetest dog with an even bigger heart. He stayed at my bedside until I received a new kidney, so I will always be at his side in his biggest time of need, like he was at mine.

Please help Harvey get a fighting chance at life!!
