Greg Almodovar's Farewell

I cant believe I'm doing this.  My name is Jimmy Almodovar.   Today, I have lost my youngest brother, Greg Almodovar

He had been reported missing a few days back.  With the support of the community - we were able to conduct a search for him.  Unfortunately we were unable to find him.   

His story was covered by a few media outlets:

-LB Post, Press Telegram, CBS, as well as a few others.

Despite the coverage, we were unable to piece together anymore information that would lead to his rescue.   Today, 12/8/14, we recovered my brother's body in the LA Flood Control.

The cause of death and all the details regarding his disappearence still remains a mystery, and will possibly never be answered (until i ask him myself one day).  However, instead of dwelling on that, I would like to propose that we gracefully and gently, lay him to peace.

I have been contacted by those that had the pleaure of sharing a few moments with Greg.  A number of you have asked about where they could provide support financially.  To help with everyone who wishes to donate - I have created a GoFundMe account for this purpose.

Any donation is appreciated.  ALL Donations will go to Greg's funeral expenses.  Should we receive an amount greater than what is needed, I will pass the remaining amount to The Salvation Army.

Greg spent some time donating time to the Salvation Army, and at one point, even worked for the organization.  I feel that this would be only fair.
