Hello, my name is Christopher Daly, I live in the Marquette neighborhood and I’m running for mayor in the upcoming 2015 election. I am a UW graduate and member of Progressive Dane and have been involved recently with the movement to raise the minimum wage to $15 and in efforts to limit the giveaway of public tax money to subsidize private development projects through the TIF program. I believe that the solution to the problems of corporatism and a national government unwilling to address the gross inequalities in our society lies with local legislation, grassroots activism, and direct action. I am running because I believe that a new social vision is needed to accomplish this. Together, let's make a new Madison!
