In Loving Memory of Larry Case

This GoFundMe is being established to raise money to provide support for the family of Larry T. Case  The money will be utilized to cover memorial costs, end-of-life expenses, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to charity in Larry's name.  

Larry Travis Case passed away on Wednesday, August 22nd at 1:50 PM at the Ocean Springs Hospital, in Ocean Springs, MS. His family has honored his wishes to be cremated. Larry was a great father, loving grandfather, teacher, brother, husband and compassionate friend.  His struggle endured for decades during which he demonstrated patience, tenacity, and an unrelenting will to survive. Larry was surrounded by friends and loved ones during his final moments.  He will be missed by those who knew him. 

Larry was born on January 3rd, 1949 in Fort Worth, TX at the Carswell Air Force Base hospital. His parents are the late Master Sergeant Leon Charles Case, US Air Force Retired, and the late Florence Crain Case.  Larry is survived by his wife, Mrs Deborah A Case, his sisters, Beverly Case Kindred and Susan Case Marr, and his Aunt Bettie Case Duncan.  His children include Tracy Case Koslowski and her husband Thomas of Oxford, MS, Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Scott Case, US Air Force, and his wife Alison of Niceville, FL, and Delene Case White and her husband Donavan of Keene, New Hampshire.  His grandchildren include Keelan Case, Christian Koslowski, Erika Case, Jonathan Paulino, Mackenzie Case, Aliana McKinnon, Troy Case, Jason Case, and Jack White.  Larry also left behind many nieces and nephews. 

Larry enjoyed many activities throughout his life, especially helping those in need. He was a Past Master of Masonic Lodge 633 in Gautier, MS. He also actively participated in the York Rite and the Shriners Temple for various times during which he assisted multiple children receive medical attention from the Shriners Hospital. He mostly worked as a machinist for companies such as Boeing on a contract for NASA, Ingalls Shipyard, and Williams Machine Shop.  He also worked in sales at Sears, where he was renowned for above and beyond service to his multitude of clients.  He received many accolades, most notably receiving national level honors for his team’s work on the Saturn/Apollo Space Program, as recorded in the Boeing Company Apollo/Saturn V Roll of Honor, archived in the Library of Congress, the Smithsonian Institute, the Baker Library in Harvard, and the Monument to Apollo 11 near Cape Kennedy.  He thoroughly enjoyed hobbies such as auto repair, computers, wood working and outdoor activities such as fishing with his grandchildren and hunting.

A celebration of his life will take place at the First United Methodist Church in Gautier, MS at 5:00 in the evening on Friday, Aug 31st.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to this fund.  A portion of the proceeds will be donated to a fund to support needy families at Shriners Hospitals for Children, which was an important charity to Larry. His family will make this donation in memory of Larry Case.
