Indie Auto Fire Recovery Effort

On August 5, 2015, we, Greg Lawrence and Brian Bucala suffered the loss  of our business, Indie Auto, as the result of a devastating and fast moving fire. While grateful to the efforts of the army of firefighters, Indie Auto was unable to salvage anything from our office or shop. This included not only the files, supplies, parts inventory and materials acquired to set up shop 2.5 years ago, but also tool collections that have been built over two 20-year careers. As Volvo and Saab specialists, we had a comprehensive collection of diagnostic tools and equipment. 

Indie Auto does have insurance and it will help, however we are realizing that there will be a gap. Such is the pain of being a fast-growing business that has been spreading it's wings, only to have them clipped. 

Any donations received will go directly toward shop supplies for a temporary space and eventually for a permanant space.

If you've been in the shop recently, you would probably see evidence of our hobbies...bikes, kayaks, fishing poles...these were all also lost in the fire.

We, along with our Service Manager Nate Mansfield have every intention of rebuilding from these ashes, making Indie Auto even better than ever and YOU CAN HELP! We are not the type to ask for help, but smart enough to know when it's necessary.
