The Swadley Family Medical Fund

December 11th, Charlsie Swadley went into labor with baby number eight. There were complications and she had an amniotic fluid embolism, which is a rare but serious condition that occurs when amniotic fluid — the fluid that surrounds a baby in the uterus during pregnancy — or fetal material, such as hair, enters the maternal bloodstream, resulting in an emergency C-section and hysterectomy. The baby, Lilian Rose did not survive.
 
After a long month or so of intensive and heart renching waiting for Charlsie to "wake up" from this trauma, the beloved wife of Michael Swadley, Charlsie,  finished the race January 17th at 5am. This is bitter sweet, because the family is so relieved that she is not suffering anymore, but this has made this loss final. 

Michael Swadley will continue to care for his and Charlsie's 7 children. A single dad with that many kids needs all the help he can get, let's allow the Lord to poor out blessing after blessing during such a great loss as this. Money isn't the answer of course, but it can help to remove some of the burden of medical bills, and the bills to pay for a child that was lost in birth and now the funeral of his wife and then the expense of everyday living, schooling etc... We want to bless the Swadley family in any way we can, to help carry their load during this time, if you feel lead to give please give what you can.
