My friend, Mai, has been in a rather tough situation for all of his life.
He is a trans, gay, male living in a transphobic, homophobic family who constantly abuse him verbally and physically, even going as far as to beat him up when he came out to the family.
At the age of 14 his mother removed him from school insisting she was going to homeschool him. He has not recieved any education since then, even with his mother's word.
He is now 17 and unable to get out of his horrid living situation. He has no money seeing as his mother takes it all from him.
We have managed to find a place for him to stay temporarily, but he needs money to get there and get himself back onto his feet.
Any donations will go towards helping him get to a much healthier enviroment and be able to live without fear and dread.
