Help Melissa pay for Jack's surgery!

Our good friend and fellow swing dancer Melissa Rutherfoord's sweet pup Jack had to have surgery this weekend for bladder stones, and he'll be on antibiotics for another 2 months and has to have special food for the rest of his life. Jack is the sweetest boy you'll ever have the pleasure of having your butt sniffed by, and he's still just a babe at only 6 years old!


I'm hoping we can collect enough money to cover his vet bills which came up to almost $8000! I know that if we all come together we can help Melissa and her family recoup the costs to save their pup and have a little extra to help with the medications and food! Her family has had to front these expenses and they are not small, so let's get this done as fast as we can and show what the Chicago (and national) swing dance community is capable of!


As anyone with a pet will tell you, Jack is family! Melissa, her husband Robert, and their son Collin all love cuddling with Jack on the couch and he's a loving member of their family!


I would love it if we can all help them out, Melissa never hesitates to help out her friends, or anyone in the swing dance community for that matter, when they need it, so it'll sure be nice if we can repay the favor!
