Jackson and Tims medical fund

Sunday night my brother and dad were on their way home from a trip to California. They drove out there to see a marine corps graduation in honor and excitement of Jackson's enlisting in the marines. Jackson passed all his tests/exams/MEPS before hand. He was scheduled to leave for boot camp in the beginning of February.

Around 8:30 pm that night they had just made it to pueblo. Due to a mixture of an unknown and extreme case of road rage and alcohol, the driver at fault intentionally swerved her car into them. Jackson and my dads car ended up impaled by the guard rail on the side of the highway, and on its side. My dad was taken off the scene in an ambulance. He ended up with stitches and staples in his leg, knee, and face. He is also extremely bruised on his face and rib cage. Jackson was taken away in a helicopter in a flight for life. He is now in the icu. He has two broken legs, a lacerated bladder, a broken pelvis, and stitches in his arm. He is still under a medical induced coma and we are patiently waiting for him to wake.

We are asking for donations first of all because the driver at fault had no proof of insurance- we are still unsure if she does or does not have it, but it's a little gut wrenching for all of us. Most importantly though for both of their healing processes. Jackson had rods put in to repair both of his legs and when he wakes up he will need a wheel chair, a ramp built at the house, and lots of therapy to learn how to walk again. On top of many other things. He will be in the hospital for a month or two. My dad is still unable to walk as well because of all the staples in his knee but should be able to soon and is out of the hospital. Jackson is also located at a hospital in downtown Colorado Springs when half the family is located in castle rock. The driving and gas will take a toll on us. We would also like donations to be able to help support both sides of the families for the many days ahead we will all be taking off of work to care for these two. And, unfortunately the car they were driving was a rental so insurance coverage on our end is extremely little as well.

We don't really have a set goal for the amount of money we would like to raise because we are still unaware of all of jacksons future needs due to the fact he hasn't woken up yet. UPDATE:
Jackson has a new found brain injury. He will be in the hospital a lot longer and recovering for longer than we thought. The injury is called a diffuse axonal injury. I'm not the best at explaining it.
