This is the hardest thing we have had to do. It’s easier to endure the messy parts of our stories in private. We all like to tuck away our heartache and smile even when it hurts.
Sometimes though God calls us out of our comfort zone because BIG dreams require BIG risk!
Our desire to be parents has called our need into the light. We have held fast to the promise God spoke over us 5 years ago when we began dreaming of holding our miracle.
When we found out we had a 1% chance of a natural conception we decided to remember that God is the one who leaves the 99 for the 1.. that He is a promise keeper and that although we are entirely undeserving He calls us worthy!
We have found an incredible clinic & Dr. who we love and after years of waiting and more prayer than I thought possible we have decided to say YES to IVF.
Chris is active duty and although we are blessed with insurance, fertility treatments are considered elective and not covered. After a meeting last week with the clinic’s financial office we know more than ever that if we are going to bring a baby home.. we can’t do it alone.
We are asking for help in a world that tells us that weakness should be hidden. We are asking for the kind of gift that we could never repay... we are asking for you to believe with us that He is still the God of miracles!
