Highway to Haiti

Dear Friends and Family,
As you probably know, I’ve been attending Christ’s Church and the student ministry for a while. Just recently, an opportunity came up to participate in a mission trip to Christianville, Haiti. The Church has been supporting missions for years, but here’s an opportunity to experience missions and make a difference in the world.
I believe that in some way God can use me, my talents, and my love for people to touch the lives of impoverished children and families. Not only that, but in the process, I hope to grow so much closer to him.
This trip to Haiti will allow me to experience a variety of ministry opportunities alongside our mission partners, Christianville and All Things New orphanage. Each day may be a little different. We will be participating in various work projects around the campuses, providing VBS outreaches to local children and orphanages, and sharing God’s love with our Haitian brothers and sisters.
I really want to use this week to make a difference for God in somebody’s life, and I hope to have a life-changing experience myself. Maybe you can help. In addition to prayer for me, the team, and the people we will meet, I also need to raise some additional funds to make it possible for me to participate. The cost for each person is about $900.00. I’ve already invested some money toward the trip and hope to do more. I trust that if God wants me to participate in this trip, then He will somehow make a way.
