Maple Cooper Medical Expenses

Donation protected
Our daughter Maple Cooper was diagnosed with rocky moutain spotted fever on July-30-2014 at Childrens hospitial in Knoxville Tennessee. She was seemingly cohereant and talking to the staff in the emergency room there upon arrival from Oneida Tennessee via ground ambulance. She then rapildy went down beginning with septic shock followed by her organs starting to fail.  Maple was immedeitly placed in the intensive care unit there and placed on life support. Then the next morning a ventilatior tube was adminstered due to oncoming  breathing complications. After approxmitaley one month of living in the hospitial ICU  in Knoxville they took her off sedation to our heartbreak she did not wake up. They preformed an MRI and several other tests to discover she had inflamation in her brain. The doctors told us Maple was awake as much as she could be, however that she had lost all her ablity to physically move. The part of her brain that was affected was the one that controlled all of her motor skills. They also told us that they had no idea if a recovery was possible that this could be her permeant condition. It was requested that she then be transfered to Johns Hopkins childrens hospitial in Baltimore  Maryland. We hoped this be the game changer how ever after arrival in Baltimore via air medical ambulance their assesment was complete and they shared the same opinion which was that of an unknown outcome. They then transfered Maple from Johns Hopkins hospitial to a Kennedy Kreger rehabalation institution in which was also in Baltimore. There she began the long jounery to hopefully recover with us not knowing how far she would be able to get. Day by day she starting showing signs of improvment from smiles to uncontroled but seemigly intentional body movements. After over a month there we were then again transfered via air medical Ambulace to Childrens Hospitial in Atlanta Georgia for a more intensive rehabalation program inculding robotics thearpy. Maple  continues to recover her motor skills such as eating, speaking, walking, ect. . She is working hard with others to relearn and get back to the girl she use to be. She still has trouble with her speech, weakness in her left arm and hand, her left  foot turns completely inward to the center without help from a brace. She has made breath taking accomplishments and has made me very happy as her mother to see her very positive attitude. Unfortunatley as a result of my extended absence from work to be by my daughters side I was terminated from my full time job that we used to cover our normal finacial obligations. Between this loss of work, medical bills, special medical equipment, having to live away from home for 5 months so far, travel expenses, ect is why any donation would be greatly appreciated.
