Let's Bring Him Here (USA)

Welcome to this campaign, updated January 28, 2015.

This campaign is to help Jelle Florizoone to get his O1 visa,  to live and work in the United States of America.

It has taken the last couple of months, almost pleading with Jelle, to let us help him in this effort.  Even with the combined successes he has had, he is that humble- and real.  Early this evening, Belgium time, he gave the okay.

It was originally launched on November 3, 2013 by Jelle himself, following his acceptance to AMDA in Los Angeles.  Unfortunately, the goal was not achieved within the short time frame before he had to arrive.

However, the dream lives on.  A new manager in Belgium and a few friends in the U.S, who want to help his dream come true have caught his dream and want to help out- with your help too.  His work to present and exceptional talent and tenacity merit that.

Jelle has been working on other projects in Europe.  He will be working on a movie based upon a regional TV series he has been a lead character in.  The release date of that is unknown, but it will most likely be available only in Belgium and The Netherlands, where the series has aired.

Imminently, Jelle has the opportunity to be in a new, independently produced, feature length film, already in pre-production for summer 2015.

However, his role in this project, has no compensation "guarantees" with it.  At the earliest, it would be following production, release and distribution.

So again, finances are the issue, to make this and so much more in his goals be realized.  At issue:

Level One: +$8,000.00 (totaling $8,000.00) or 80% of the campaign goal of $10,000.00

a)  Filing and processing his application for O1 Visa status, so he can live and work in the United States and he  wants to do this in the completely proper manner.  He has an excellent Immigration and Entertainment Law attorney in West Hollywood, who will assist him in this entire matter.

b)  Set aside for any additional/urgent legal matters pertaining to his living and working in the U.S.

c)  Travel from Belgium to the U.S. upon approval of the application and issuance of his visa.

Level Two:   +$2,500.00  (totaling $10,000.00) or 100% of the total campaign goal of $10,000.00

This will get him to Los Angeles, in a location that will of course remain private for his security, that he will be comfortable and safe as he adjusts to a culture that is different from where he was born and has grown up, Ostend, Belgium, in part the setting for North Sea Texas in which he brilliantly portrayed the character of Pim.

Please understand, while Jelle has had creative success in past projects, they are in no way of the caliber financially to similar ones in the U.S.

He has been hard-working since his early teens and taken on the responsibilities of an adult early, as an only child of two parents who parted.  He has been  mostly with Mum ever since.

Here is a repost of an excerpt from his original description when he first launched this campaign:
__

Hello there!

My name is Jelle Florizoone, 18 (now 19) years old and currently living in Belgium, Europe. Last August, I went to Los Angeles to chase my dreams.  I auditioned at 'The American Musical and Dramatic Academy'. Last week, I received a call that I got in!  Couldn't believe it!

I'm a quite well known actor here in Belgium and I feel have already achieved many goals here, especially for my age.  I starred in a feature movie called 'North Sea, Texas' and I did some supporting roles for other features.  I'm currently  working on a TV show for children called 'ROX ' (soon to be a movie), where I also have one of the leading parts.

Admission to AMDA is extremely competitive: students come from across the globe and are selected from auditions held in more than 35 cities throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, England, Argentina, Brazil, Israel and South Korea. The full time enrollment at the two AMDA locations is 1,000 students. AMDA was founded in 1964 as a premier performing arts conservatory. With campuses in New York's Upper West Side and in the historic Hollywood district of Los Angeles.

I know that U.S. people are very kind and I hope that they are willing to help build my future, in another land, that I love.

As noted above, that is where this campaign had to change and this update is being made by just one of his friends here in America, asking every single person, group, organization or even enterprise, who is just learning of or who has admired his work, to pitch in now, and make this happen.

As Jelle is known to say, as he approaches a new play, short film, or other performance opportunity, "Let's do this!"

Yes, only now it should be US for him.  Friends and fans alike.

In the time this supporter has known Jelle, he has proven himself to be down to earth, highly intelligent and mature, kind and respectful to others, and a heart as big as Texas and more golden than all ever taken from California to Alaska!  All that beyond his being extraordinarily gifted in each project he has taken on.

I know for a fact, his outreach efforts have been literally life-saving to many individuals.  He is dedicated in wanting to reach others and so many more.  A believer in paying it forward- and he will.  Again, "Let's do this."

Please know, every donation is greatly appreciated.  Share this campaign with all you know, who may have seen any or all of his past work and invite them to join in.  I have no doubt, helping Jelle out right now, will have returns that we cannot even imagine, for the good of others and yes- the world.

Note:  all proceeds will go directly for the payment of items noted above.  There are no managerment, professional or publicity fees attached to this campaign, other than for legal processes and personal needs outlined above.

Thank you for taking your time to visit here and please keep in touch with Jelle at his online presences, where you may already be too:
