Jenks Trojan Pride Rose Parade® Fund

The Jenks High School Marching Band will be participating in the 127th Tournament of Roses Parade® in Pasadena, California on January 1st, 2016! They will have the wonderful opportunity to represent the City of Jenks, the City of Tulsa, and the State of Oklahoma. The invitation to such an exciting event is the result of long hours and challenging efforts put in by the band members and staff.

The band has to find a way to transport all of the instruments and equipment, as well as students, which makes paying for the trip difficult for many. Potential donors, such as yourself, could help alleviate some of the costs to the students. This would be a tremendous help, not just to the kids, but to the parents as well.

The hard work and sacrifices the Jenks band students will make over the next year are the building blocks that help shape their character and set in place a foundation that will reach beyond their high school experiences. Over 80% of the performance budget comes from the generous gifts made by individuals like you. If we reach our goal of $30,000, we will be able to reduce the price of the trip for each band member by $100! This can make the difference between a student going or not going on our trip to the Rose Parade®. So every dollar counts!
