JENNY'S FIGHT

Donation protected
Here we go again….bad news is never easy to share…...Jenny’s last PET scan reveals that the bastard cancer in her bones, lungs and liver is growing quickly and she needs six more months of intense chemotherapy and a surgery to stabilize her hip as the cancer in her bones is threatening to fracture her hip if it hasn’t created hairline fractures already. She is in constant pain, learning to use a cane and has been instructed to stop any exercise. The chemo, starting next week if her surgery doesn’t come first, will be 3 weeks on and one week off with the drug Abraxane for the next six months.  Again losing her hair and with surgery, recovery and chemo it all severely curtails her ability to work and care for herself. We all know by now that she is a force of nature and will continue to fight for her life and do her best to teach yoga and play music to support herself when her body and energy allows. Please help us in this fight to keep her alive and thank you a billion times over for your help in the last three years. Yes, It has been three years to the day that Jenny was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and without your kindness I don’t know how we would have supported her.

Jenny was diagnosed with Stage II breast cancer in July of 2015, she then had two lumpectomies, months of chemotherapy, radiation and hormone therapy at Cedars Sinai. She changed her life to support her health, eating a completely organic diet and implemented a wide range of alternative medicine to help in her fight. In the process there were many bumps including a missed cancer nodule that had grown in her lungs. From there she had surgery on her lungs to remove and biopsy the nodule. Her doctors at Cedars then diagnosed her with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer and told her there was no other treatment for her. They said she had six month to live. She said FUCK THAT and through the network of other cancer fighters she had been sharing information with found a new doctor at City of Hope. The new treatments kicked that cancers ass for awhile and gave her another year and half of life. Fighting Stage IV cancer is a full time job and Jenny works at it relentlessly.
