Jerkins Community Center

Taylor County Leadership Council is a not-for-profit legal entity incorparated under the laws of the Stte of Florida for the purppose of providing youth and family programs.  On July 1, 1995, the Jerkins High School was deeded to the Council by the Taylor County School Board for the purpose of organizing community programs and activities. In 1970, the school was closed for the purpose of intergration.   But the Leadership Council is still presently at the school provding services to the public; Clothes Closet,  Second Harvest Food Distrubution and other food donations for local grocery stores and scheduled activities & events.  Your donations will go towards the upkeep of the building and to help in renovating it,  room by room.  The Leadership Council has begun to grow and we look forward to many accomplishments here at Taylor County Jerkins High School/ HJerkins Community Center
