Surgery Funds

I started hormone therapy in late 2012. Although my voice is changing and I have more masculine features now, it's rough waking up on a daily basis feeling like you're born into the wrong body. Feeling as though you have a permanent marking when society views me and questions who I am, or more testing... WHAT I am. I shouldn't have to hide my feelings or thoughts, but I do most days. It gets harder as I get older and more uncomfortable because my body is not how my mind envisions it.

What I'm asking is not that you judge my story, but that you get to know me for ME. I will continue to do great things in life. I just want to show the world who I truly am.

Reassignment surgeries are ridiculously expensive. Ecspecially since insurance won't cover most aftercare. My main goal this year is to raise money and save up so I can get top-surgery. I would need between $5500 - $8000 for a double mastectomy and chest reconstruction. (The exact sum of the procedures I need is $12,300) Any donation helps!!
