John Adams Football High School

Hello Everyone, My name is Gary Jackson and I am the Head Football Coach of the John Adams Rebels High School Football Team. The John Adams Rebels High School is a Cleveland Metropolitan School District  high school located on the east side  of Cleveland, Ohio. Our school is located on 3817 Martin Luther King Jr drive. Our School originally opened its doors in 1923 and unfortunately, closed in 1995 due to budget cuts in our city schools. The loss of such a traditional rich high school was a major blow to the community. However, because of the commitment and shear love for their beloved John Adams High School, the community  fought hard and was rewarded when the school reopened its doors in 2006. Although, this was a great victory for the community, there wasn't enough funds to rebuild the Football Stadium. Because  we do not have a home stadium, our football program has been unable to raise enough revenue needed to provide our student athletes with enough proper equipment to train nor do we have the funds to purchase new uniforms. We have competed in the exact same uniforms we have since the school reopened in 2006. Although we have had financial shortcomings, we have moderate success. We have competed in 5 City Championships, winning 3, while our greatest  accomplishment has been sending 9 kids to Division I schools, 12 to Division II schools and several others to Division III schools.
