The John Douthitt Memorial Scholarship was created by my family in honor of my father who passed away in 1984. My father was the Chairman of the Kinesiology, Physical Health and Recreation Department at UNT, as well as the Acting Dean of the College of Education. A lifelong educator, our dream is to fully fund a scholarship in his memory.
PURPOSE: To provide scholarship(s) for undergraduate and graduate Kinesiology students at the University of North Texas.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Meet the minimum entrance and continuing academic performance standards of the University of North Texas and College of Education in effect at the time of any award;
2. Be an undergraduate or graduate major in the Kinesiology program.
