An amazing kid needs our help

Joania ("JoJo") Hernandez is a senior at Cooper City High School in Cooper City, FL. Despite being born with a facial difference, she has proven to be a strong, well-adjusted teenager. Two weeks before she turned 18, JoJo came home to find her belongings packed in boxes at the front door. She now lives on her own, looking for part-time jobs to support herself while still attending high school. Unfortunately, finding a part-time job hasn’t been easy for JoJo due to her facial scarring. Over 40 companies have turned her down, some of which gave her a “no thanks” before even asking her the first interview question. She was able to find employment with Walgreens, but she’s still looking for more work “just to have somewhere to go after school”.
I’d like to raise enough money so that JoJo can focus on finishing high school without the financial pressure of supporting herself while doing so. She receives no financial support from her parents. She’s on her own.

I felt I needed to do something to ease the burden this child must be feeling every day of her life. Please donate if you can.
And yes...JoJo is now aware of this GoFundMe and has agreed to accept our help. I set up the withdrawal option from this campaign so that JoJo receives the money directly from GoFundMe via bank transfer. Let’s make this a Christmas she’ll never forget!!!
