Joochan (Austen) & Yuki

Donation protected
Joochan (Austen) Lee was my friend, brother in Christ, faithful servant of God,  and the best brother-in-law that one can have. We miss him so much already.

It is with the utmost sorrow
to announce that he went to be with the Lord
this past Friday, on July 13th.

He was enrolled and studying at Moody Aviation
in Spokane, WA to become a missionary pilot
to serve the Lord overseas.

During a training flight, the Cesna 172 aircraft crashed with 3 people on board: Joochan, another student, and their instructor. There were no survivors.

Investigation for the accident is underway
by the FAA and the NTSB (National Transportation Safety Board), but it may take months
and even years for a final conclusion to be drawn
because of the complications of the accident.

Joochan was 25 years old
and married to Yuki for more than 2 years.
Both of them are MK's (missionary kids)
from Uzbekistan/Kyrgyzstan (Joochan)
and Japan (Yuki).

Just a few weeks ago,
Joochan and Yuki shared with us the news that
they just found out that the Lord has
blessed them with their first child.

As family, we are devastated by the sudden loss
of Joochan, as he cannot be replaced in our lives
and his absence is still unreal to many of us.

Parents and family will be flying in from
different parts of the world for Joochan’s funeral in
Spokane, WA.

We are organizing this fundraiser to help pay for:
1) Funeral
2) Travel & Accommodation for Family
3) Legal fees
and remaining funds will go to towards supporting
Yuki and Joochan's widow and unborn child.

The time/location of Joochan’s funeral has not
yet been set due to the immediate nature of the situation. However, if you would like information regarding Joochan’s funeral once it is finalized,
please send a brief e-mail to [email redacted] and you will be notified with the relevant information.

We ask for your prayer that God would grant peace, comfort, and restoration for all those who are deeply grieving.
