Help Jordan Beat Cancer
Donation protected
I am creating this campaign on behalf of my boyfriend, Jordan Paige. Jordan was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in August 2018 and as of September we know that the cancer is stage 4B with lymph nodes in his neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis being involved along with his spleen and bone marrow. As of now, Jordan needs 6 months of chemotherapy. We are lucky enough to have a great team of local doctors helping us fight this disease.
For many months he has been experiencing fatigue and pain that makes his job as a busser and expediter quite hard to do and his doctors have told us that he won't be able to do his normal work duties for at least a month starting mid September. With chemo starting shortly after that, he will be reducing his hours at work and will definitely need more help with medical and living expenses. Jordan has also started the process of fertility preservation which we need help paying for.
Jordan and I are blessed with family, friends, and coworkers who are helping us emotionally through this process, but it's time for us to reach out for financial help too. We want all of you to know how grateful we are for any support you are able to contribute. As Jordan's primary advocate, it has been my job to help reduce the stress of this whole process on him. I would please ask that you reach out to me if you have any questions, concerns, and well wishes for Jordan Paige because it is very stressful to constantly be reminded of his situation.
I have started gathering emails of friends and family who want to be more deeply informed of his medical and living situation. In the next week I will send out an introductory email and more will be sent in the future as we get big updates, need any help, or to answer any questions that I receive. Please send me an email at [email redacted] with the subject "Jordan Paige Cancer Updates" if you would like to be included on this email list. If you send me other people's email addresses I will be happy to include them as well.
