Madsen Family Memorial Fund

On January 5, 2015, Dennis Glen Madsen died peacefully in his sleep. Denny was a lifelong resident of the Salt Lake Valley. He was born March 30, 1943, to Boyd & Doris Madsen who precede him in death. Denny graduated from South High in 1961, and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology, specifically in entomology, from the University of Utah. In his life, Denny was a successful businessman, a loving father, and a good friend to many. He will be missed and remembered, and anyone who ever met Denny will remember him as one of the most unique individuals they have ever met. Denny is survived by numerous family members, but most of all by his three children, Steven, Andrea and Damon, and his only grandchild, Erin Madsen who he loved with all his heart. A celebration of Denny’s life will be held at Draper 7th Ward 600 E. 12300 S., Draper, UT at 1:00 pm Saturday the 10th of January.
