Boys & Girls Club Mental Health Access Program

Donation protected
In conjunction with the Just Breathe 988 Awareness Campaign, the 2023 Leadership Duluth class is endeavoring to raise $25,000 for the Northland’s Boys and Girls Club (BGC) Mental Health Access Program for some of the most vulnerable youth in our area.

Since 2019, The Duluth Rotary Club 25 has helped launch and sustain the BGC Mental Health Access Program. This year, the 2023 Leadership Duluth Class is joining in their efforts. Rotary has a goal to raise $25,000 for the sustainability of the program, and the 2023 Leadership Duluth class is ambitiously setting a goal to match the $25,000 for this vitally important service to local youth.

Data shows that young people are especially vulnerable, with increased rates of depression, self-harm and suicide. The Boys and Girls Club program has a significant impact by eliminating one of the greatest barriers our youth have to getting mental health treatment – access.

The BGC Mental Health Access Program collaborates with counselors and mental health practitioners, having formally partnered with mental health clinics to provide out-patient services to youth on site.

Please give generously. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Boys and Girls Club Mental Health Access Program with the fiscal agent being the Duluth Rotary Foundation.
