Justice For Judy: Lawrence Hospital

My name is Judy Ferony, I've lived in the Morris Park section of the Northeast Bronx all my life; been to hell and back over the incidents that unfolded while I was a console operator working for Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville (I know I wasn't the only employee treated like dirt by Lawrence Medical Center, I hope others come forward).

Funds will be used for:

*To replace some of my equipment and art supplies I was robbed of, so I can go back to my art/surface design.

*Postage and copies needed to contact various government agencies and elected officials as well as legal fees for an Article 78 case and other expenses in regards to the legal aspects of my case.

*The Human Resources Administration  looks for any excuse to take away benefits (some of which should have been treated as a Hate Crime) or to not give you benefits at all. A portion of the money will be used for utilities and rent for a month or two, it will take me at least that long to get back on my feet.

Senator Jeffrey Klein and Governor Cuomo (while he was Attorney General of New York State) helped Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville, New York cheat me out of my Workers Compensation to cover up an illegal asbestos abatement job that was going on while I worked there in 2010. No one should have to put up with what I did (and continue to do so) just to have to make a living for oneself. Labor Law violations were the norm and the Department of Labor was useless at the time, so was OSHA; as a matter of fact the DoL told me to "Find another job!", instead of upholding laws that were already in place, meant to protect New Yorkers in the workforce.

All New Yorkers who use the hospital services should be concerned with what went on at Lawrence Hospital; especially if you're a tax payer in Bronxville (click on the Lawrence Hospital link to find out what I'm talking about). You may be in my shoes one day; up against a Goliath, not getting any traction and I keep getting cheated out of benefits that my family (now all dead or dead to me) and I paid into.

NO LAWYERS WILL TAKE THE CASE WITH HEAVY HITTERS SENATOR JEFF KLEIN AND GOVERNOR CUOMO BEING INVOLVED!

The above letter is what's called "Consciousness of Guilt" in a court of law; it was sent out almost a year after the fact, after Senator Jeffrey Klein had me call his law firm partner, Santucci, who told me "I had no case!"; all Jeff (or any lawyer) had to do is subpoena the security cameras at Lawrence Hospital and everything I'm saying would have been proven to be true. There were countless witnesses , thousands of people went in and out of the hospital while this renovation was taking place; there was no encapsulation for the asbestos abatement (which was/is illegal) that went on the first 2 weeks of the job in January of 2010, the job ended in August when I was fired in retaliation for whistle-blowing.

The Workers Compensation I was cheated out of amounts to well over a quarter of a million dollars, with a good lawyer, I'm sure the amount would be much greater when you consider Loss of Income, Loss of Consortium, Pain and Suffering. Long story short, I took the job so I'd be able to get good medical care; my mother had just passed away, she had stage 4 ovarian cancer (I have all the winning lottery numbers for that too). Eventually I may have to do a Go Fund Me campaign so I can get to a Cancer Treatment Center outside of New York, hopefully a place where their doctors wont cover-up all the Medicaid Fraud and Malpractice that has ensued.

There's a lot more to the story, like how most of my stuff was lost, stolen or given away due to a corrupt housing court Judge, his court clerk and a racists GAL (Gardian Ad Litum), I spent 4 years in Bronx Housing Court; I should have been getting a settlement, my landlord got away with rent over-charges going back 40 years.  I've tried to report all of the incidents; its all organized crime related. I did report them to the Department of Justice while Preet Bharara was at the helm (here's the proof below and there were plenty of other times I've reached out for help). I reported everything to other government agencies and our useless, corrupt politicians, attorney general & Bronx District Attorney (no one ever answered the phones or returned calls at the DA's office); they would have been caught red handed too, anything goes in New York, its why more people have moved out in the past 10 years (whole neighborhoods have cleared out here in the Bronx under Cuomo/ de Blasio administration).
