Our family and friends write to you today an appeal asking that you help us get justice for the cruel and brutal beating of a father, a son, a brother, cousin, uncle and dear friend - Edson that took place on Thursday 15th June in East London - Woodcocks near Tollgate road.

Edson was lying in hospital for 6 days on life support after police attempted to arrest him. The police handled him brutally  and left him with injuries that suggested he was mistreated as well as not following basic protocol. Sadly we were forced to say goodbye Wednesday 21st June and lost a priceless soul.

Please help us raise money for the funeral and ofcourse his beautiful son who deserves more than this. Every little counts and will be greatly appreciated.

I ask everyone to please help share this incident to the press and see if we can get these witnesses to talk or at least hand in any videos they may have. This is a call for justice, not just for Edson but for all young men that are forgotten and unprotected in this reckless system.
