Lets help David "Rolfie" Rolfe
Former Australian Paralympic Swimmer David 'Rolfie" Rolfe was a dedicated dad, and one of the most beautiful men to ever walk this earth. He recently died from an infection following three open heart surgeries during the past 12 months.
Rolfie was a kind and generous man who after losing his leg in a motor vehicle accident dedicated time to supporting and mentoring others and was a Paralympic Games medalist in his discipline of backstroke.
In recent years, Rolfie was studying at university to be a primary school teacher - a path he chose to follow after mentoring and supporting so many younger athletes to encourage and challenge them to do their best.
His recent unexpected death has brought to light that although Rolfie had a rich personality he was not rich financially - this means that his son Eli (currently a university student) can't meet the costs of a funeral and other related expenses for his dad.
Rolfie always made time to help and support other people and now Eli needs our help in the form of a donation to help farewell his dad.
