Hello, My name is KATRYNNA DAVIS and I have NEVER been good at asking for help... But LIFE as we ALL know can be full of BLESSINGS as well as PITFALLS...
Approximately a year and a half ago, I was a FULLTIME STUDENT at SEATTLE CENTRAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE (I am 3 classes and 3 internships away from an AA in SOCIAL AND HUMAN SERVICES and a CERTIFICATE for CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY COUNSELING) I remember speaking to my counselor and stating that my SUPPORT SYSTEM was like an EXTREMELY DELICATE WEB; that if one part were to FALL then the ENTIRE system would CRUMBLE!!! I am also a SINGLE MOTHER of a BEAUTIFUL 15 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER!!! I have been declared DISABLED since 2010!!! I also had started my own business called KAT OF ALL TRADES!!! We were living in an upper unit of a duplex in BEAUTIFUL BALLARD!!!
Approximately a year ago I started to become EXTREMELY ILL, and our landlord decided to sell what we called HOME for the last 6.5 years!!! We had to make a move FAST!!! So, we ended up in a low-income apartment complex outside of Seattle (and further away from my clientele of the last 2-3 years)!!! Due to my illness, I could no longer keep up with my college or my work!!! The last BIG JOBS that we had booked before my health made it impossible to continue; the lady had booked us for 3 big jobs: Painting the Exterior of her house, a Custom Shower Remodel, a Teardown and Rebuild of a New 2nd story Deck!!! She, then proceeded to right before we could finish one job completely, move us on to the next, and then the same with the next!!! I had personally invested OVER $1000.00 WITH RECEIPTS, OF WHICH SHE REFUSED TO PAY ME BACK!!! SHE ALSO REFUSED FINAL PAYMENT FOR THE JOBS , of which she had decided to not allow us to finish!!! THIS WAS THE BEGINNING OF US LOSING EVERYTHING!!!

My support system (that EXTREMELY DELICATE WEB thatI had mentioned earlier began to falter... Long story short, I now have ZERO FINANCIAL SUPPORT, and NO MEDICAL INSURANCE!!!
We had began to lose EVERYTHING WE ONCE HELD DEAR!!! We have lost our storage (which held my business's LARGER TOOLS, as well as IMPORTANT FAMILY MEMORABILIA!!!) I have had to PAWN ALL OF MINE, AS WELL AS MY BUSINESS PARTNER'S TOOLS, in order to keep up with bills as long as we could!!! We have not been able to pay rent, as of January it will be 3 months past due; so an IMPENDING EVICTION IS IN PROCESS!!! We have no PHONE or WIFI service to hunt down any possible financial assistance... And my 2000 SATURN (LESS THAN 90,000 MILES) was STOLEN out of our apartment complex' parking lot (December 12, 2018); and our WORK TRUCK is LITERALLY ON IT'S LAST LEGS!!!
Recently, my illness took a turn for the worse and I wasted away to 92.7 POUNDS (I am normally 125ISH)!!! Due to lack of insurance, I was recently (December 5, 2018) turned away from the ER at SWEDISH BALLARD; the very same hospital that I had been EXTREMELY WELL TAKEN CARE OF a year prior when I still had insurance!!! I had a seizure while I was waiting to be seen!!! At 4:27 a.m. I was asked if I had insurance, of which I honestly answered "NO"!!! By 5 a.m. they had me out the door blood still dripping down my arm from them pulling the I.V. so quickly and not even taping it up!!! My ride had left, believing that they would admit me, like the last time!!! They would not let me even wait in the EMPTY LOBBY, it was still DARK and it was FREEZING OUTSIDE!!! And for this kind of treatment, I will have to PAY OUT OF POCKET!!!
Even though Life has thrown some SERIOUS OBSTACLES IN OUR PATH; I REFUSE TO GIVE UP ON MY FUTURE HOPES AND DREAMS!!! I HAVE SEEN MANY BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE ACCOMPLISH WHAT WAS SAID TO BE IMPOSSIBLE!!! LOTS OF LOVE, LIGHT, AND BLESSINGS TO ALL!!!
