Katie's Team

Hello friends...We are Platinum Sports Center, a facility for gymnastics, martial arts, dance and parkour.  We pride ourselves in having the best team because we are a family that takes care of each other.

Last week, our family was rocked by a tragedy. One of our own, Adrian, informed us that his partner Katie, a mother of two, was bitten by a dog.  This dog, reportedly a Mastiff, bit off her lower lip in its entirety.  

While  Adrian, who is one of our trampoline coaches was able to retrieve the lip and take it to the hospital along with Katie, the lip was deemed no longer viable because she was made to wait so long in the ER.  

While that is a whole other issue...Katie and Adrian are a young couple just starting out their lives. They will need help with their immediate expenses and medical bills.  With Katie just out of the hospital and not able to go back to work any time soon, they are in need of assistance to cover living expenses, medical bills and  future reconstructive surgery.  

Katie is a beautiful girl who was celebrating her birthday.  She loves animals and thought this friend's dog was safe when it reacted in such an uncharacteristic way and bit her so quickly and traumatically.
