Hi everyone! In case you do not know, I created a non-profit for teenage suicide awareness and prevention. This non-profit is my platform to share my suicide story and allow for others to share theirs. The goal is to create a conversation around suicide and depression so that we can help those who are suffering to keep choosing life. The other purpose of this non-profit is to help people to embrace their mental illness as a part of who they are and to not use it is as a negative trait. Your mental illness is part of the beautiful brain that you were born with. It is responsible for your uniqueness and every teenager who is struggling with this deserves to know how unique they are and why it needs to be shared with the world. I know I needed to know that and I am glad I did.
Donations and proceeds will go towards helping others get the help they may need and/or creating self care kits to send to the individuals who need it. Mental Illness is not an easy task to handle, and it is definitely not easy to handle alone which is why I have created this organization. Those who need a voice can use this platform to speak out and know that I am fighting for them to keep choosing life.
