Let's keep Shanowa, Dave and Kanaea in Santa Cruz where they belong. Cities are enriched when we keep great families who contribute to our community. As everyone knows, many rental properties are going up for sale and many rents are rising astronomically. When I heard this beautiful family might be forced to leave Santa Cruz, I knew I wanted to try to do something, so I started this page. Shanowa got her Master's degree here where she met Dave. Her private practice and public work has taken off. Dave has been working as a retail artist. And both Shanowa and Dave are loved and respected by their clients, customers and neighbors. Kanaea is a budding artistic talent and great student who is active in many aspects of community life. Whether it's to help them with a down payment or to help them be able to rent here for another year, I do hope you will contribute to keep this great family and great city together.
