I am Ken Bettencourt of Kens 10,000 Miles For Childhood Cancer
It cost me $25 a day to ride this bicycle roughly. Please help me stay on one extra day for these kids that fight childhood cancer.

I am a 2x brain cancer survivor from Pawtucket RI. This year I am cycling the U.S. to raise awareness and money for childhood cancer research. I began the ride on Feb. 27th just outside of Tucson AZ. I will cycle over 10,000 miles this year. I am in Nashville, TN now and I have spent a lot of money already and if I don't get some help, I may not be able to finish the ride. I have dealt with numerous bicycle problems, had to spend a lot of money the first month due to rain most every night. I want to cycle the whole 10,000 miles but I should not have to go in debt while doing it. I am down to my last straw and will not be able to continue if I don't get some work or some donations. So, if you can help with either, please do. I don't mind stoping to work, just look on my facebook link from up top and see where I am headed and I will do whatever you need done.
I am raising money for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation on their site at: http://alexslemonade.org/mypage/1121793 but this fund is set up to help me across the country. Unfortunatly it is not free to ride a bicycle daily. I wish it was.
I have logged over 200,000 miles on a bicycle riding these great states. And I have enjoyed every mile. This ride is a little more special than the last though. It is for the kids. They deserve the chance to grow old, as I have. Surviving brain cancer, I know what it is like to be in their shoes. I just want to do my part and raise money for the kids. But, if I don't have money for myself, I will be unable to continue the ride. So, please help if you can. Also, if you can join me along the way I would love to ride with you for a hour, a day, a week, or however long you like.
Thanks for your donation to me which will help me continue to ride in honor of these kids. Godspeed Ken.
